Software I use
Linux - The only operating system I use at home
Debian - My preferred Linux distro. Mainly because it's non-commercial and has the best package manager out there. Once you start using it you never go back
Grip - A nice CD ripping package. I've used it to convert all my CD's into MP3's
Lame - A great MP3 encoder. Works nicely together with Grip
Otto - An MP3 jukebox which gives you a nice web interface to your MP3 collection. You'll never need a CD again
News sites I use
Slashdot - News for nerds. Stuff that matters. What more can I say? :-)
Freshmeat - Keep track of new software releases

Sometimes you stumble upon sites where you wonder what their purpose is. What would be the purpose of an almost empty site like 199ch.com one might wonder? On a similar topic one can have a look at pointlesssites.com and just...wonder.

Internet Movie Database - Find out all about your favourite movies
Filmtipset - You rate the movies you have seen and you get suggestions on movies that you should see. Only in Swedish though
