What is the receiver supposed to be? When I send a mms message I get 2 choices, mail or number. Will it work sending the mms to 1 or 235453 for instance.

Since MMS Diary simulates an MMSC, all messages you send will be routed to it regardless of what you put in the receiver field. So you can put anything there - possibly something that you can use in your application (I have made one such thing in the Peffisaur source code where you can have it redirect the message to other servers depending on what number you put in the to-field. Other uses could be for authentication - put your secret password there to protect the site from others).

But simply said, MMS Diary in its default use does not care who you send the message to. Any string will do or even an empty string. Some phones will however complain if you don't put anything there as they think you are making a mistake. MMS was of course not meant to be used in this way - the way that it is (ab)used in MMS Diary.
