This deosnt seem to work on Oeange in the UK. Under the orange MMS phone setting, changing the homepage to you site, on a 7650 fails to send and the message sits in the outbox. And on a P900 I get an access denyed type message.
Can anyone tell me what operators DO work in the UK?
Thx |

Yes, I have recollections of people using it with Orange in UK.
The trick, as with many other operators, is to change the wap-gw as well for the mms profile. Take the wap-gw they give you for wap-browsing instead as that one does not restrict your access to the Internet. |

Thanks for your help, got it working.
For anyone else struggling with orange UK you need to change the gateway ip address to Orange WAP which is 192.168.71.35 |

I am also on orange and cannot get this working.
Where is this "Gatewap IP" option?
I have tried sending the mms using the Orange MMS option and the Orange Internet option, to no success. |

I am using a Nokia 7610 on an Orange Contract in the UK.
Here is what I did (I was writing it as instructions for my site)...
Code: |
Menu > Settings > Connection > Access Points > Options > New access point > Use existing settings > Select your MMS.
Here you can change the name to something like So-Pro MMS
Now simply change the setting 'Homepage' (at the bottom) to http://mms.so-pro.co.uk/send.php
Open your menu, select messaging goto Options > Settings > Multimedia message > Access point in use
Change it to So-Pro
[To get your MMS back to normal, just reverse this step] |

From memory you need to create a new access point using the internet accesspoint and NOT an MMS one.
THen change the "homepage" entry to be your Peffisaur posting page |
