When I receive MMS created with mmslib the FROM field is blank.

any ideas how to put a name or phone number there

also how to put some text along with image?

Check the sendNotify method in MMSNotifyer. You can add it there if you like, and you can also add it in the message. It's just not been done yet. The from field usually just contains an insert-address token and the wap-gw adds it when the message is sent to guarantee that the sender is correct. But if you send it yourself like this you can of course do as you like. It's not hard to add it. Check the decoder for instance to see what needs to be added to the message.
