Hmmm I might be interested.
1) Is your site hosted somewhere or on your own server?
2) If hosted, what sort of access are you permitted?
PM for more info |

Lets see:-
1) The ability to create and modify MySQL database.
2) The ability to upload/delete/modify files.
3) (If you want the email facility to work) The aboloty to create users and/or email aliases |

i would also consider paying... the site is up & running, but the emailing an mms isn't working and the users pages.
eg "http://www.orsus.kiwiwebhost.net/" works fine but
"http://www.orsus.kiwiwebhost.net/~jason" doesn't work |

That seems to depend on the host having "users public directories" enabled or not. If so, then the ~username bit seems to default to the hosts idea of where it should be rather than peffisaurs idea!
I am afraid that I ended up changing the ~ to - and editing the appropriate files! |

is "users public directories" a php, apache or linux setting/varible? I changed them all but problem continues, i'm not very strong on the linux os side of things & think i'm failing the setup that way... especailly doing all config through web C-Panel. I'd just really like to see this site running |

The setting is an apache configuration item.
Is the server one that you own or is ths site hosted somewhere?
If it is hosted, you can probably not change it and may have to go with my other suggestion |
