hi, peffis,

Now I am a master student in KTH, you are my schoolmates:). really admire your creativity and technical knowledge. Thank you for delivering this fantastic application for us.

here is one question:

in your install guide:
"5) Setup your email server to catch all unknown email addresses and
send it to the peffisaur user. Consult your email server's
documentation on how to do that"

I go to "www.sendmail.org", but did not find much tutorial things.until now, I have not figure out how to do this in sendmail, peffis, could you give a more detailed description?

DO you have webmin installed on the server - if so go to "sendmail configuration", then "Address Mappings (virtuser) " and add an entry that looks like "@xxx.xxxxxx.com -> Address peffisaur "

Failing that - edit "/etc/mail/virtusertable" and add "@xxx.xxxxxx.com peffisaur". Then you need to run a command to build the tables. I cannot atm remember the name of it - I will try to find it

I tried this and rebuilded the tables, stil it didnt work...

and i try with this
sendmail -bt

Here are some examples of things to try in test mode:
# make sure the domain is in class w:
$=w
# is the map working?
/map virtuser joe@yourdomain.com
/map virtuser jane@yourdomain.com
/map virtuser @yourdomain.com
# is the rewriting working?
3,0 joe@yourdomain.com
3,0 some@yourdomain.com


and i got the right answers stil it doesnt work when i send a email, its doesnt route the message to peffisaur user..
